Youthscape is a national youth work organisation working for the good of young people, many of whom are vulnerable. This environment had to be inclusive, friendly and a world away from anything institutional. The designers, HOK, made the most of a fabulous refurbished mill to create a stimulating series of spaces that can be reconfigured to suit users’ needs.
However, Youthscape still required a moving wall system and approached Creatif Wall to help. Two different systems – Skim and Float – were chosen, and close attention to detail was given to the system’s finish, including a bespoke track to complement the original elements of the mill and the introduction of large scale graphics and acoustic panels.
